My favorite vegan granola

Welcome all you English speaking people that apparently are reading my blog and that have been requesting my recipes in English 🥰❤️

First out I’ve promised my niece I would post some vegan breakfast alternatives because she has a friend that wanted some ideas of what to eat for breakfast and it had to be vegan and gluten free! One of the things I proposed was my favorite vegan granola that not only is delicious but it’s also healthy and gluten-free and the kids love it! Can you ask for more?

(For all you Swedes reading this, here’s the recipe in Swedish: Vegansk supergod favorit granola/müsli)

So without further delay, here’s the recipe:


2 cups gluten-free oatmeal
3/4 cup plain almonds
3/4 cup walnuts
3/4 cup sunflower seeds
3/4 cup pumpkin seeds
3/4 cup hemp seeds
3/4 cup raisins
4 tbs of whatever healthy oil of choice (
e.g. sunflower, vegetable, coconut)
2 tbs agave syrup
1/2 water
Cinnamon to taste (
I put quite a lot. I love a good granola with cinnamon taste 😋)
A few drops of vanilla extract (
if you want but that’s what gives it that extra yummy 😋)


1: Put the oven on at 400 F

2: I prefer to chop the bigger nuts (almonds and walnuts) into smaller bite size friendly pieces). Then mix ALL the ingredients into a bowl, EXCEPT for the raisins. Save those for later

3: In an oven safe tray (whatever size works. It’s ok if the granola is a bit layered because you gonna stir it half time anyways) place all the ingredients from the bowl and flatten it out so that it reaches the edges evenly. Place the oven safe tray in the oven and it’s supposed to bake for about 15-20 min total (depending on your oven)

7: After about 7-10 min take the tray out and NOW add the raisins and stir and flatten it out again until it reaches the edges of the tray evenly. Bake for another 7-10 min

8: IMPORTANT!! Let the granola cool off completely before you put it in a sealed storage jar or whatever you choose to store it in. If you don’t let it cool off completely the granola will be chewie and although we might like our cookies chewie, our granola is supposed to be crispy 😊👍🏼


This granola is delicious to have as a topping for your yoghurt, plant based or otherwise, on your porridge, on your ice cream or even as a quick snack before a workout for some extra energy 😋💪🏽

This granola is great for the whole family!! My boys love this granola! They even sometimes bring some of it in a small jar or a ziplock to have as a snack in school before and after lunch when they get hungry or need extra energy before a test.
